시오리PRIVACY
앱은 계정 가입을 요구하지 않으며, 이용자 계정이나 독서 기록을 보관하는 서버가 없습니다. 개발자가 운영하는 서버(Cloudflare)는 '시오리에게 편지'와 검색 API 오류 보고를 받는 용도로만 쓰입니다. 처리되는 정보는 아래와 같습니다.
The app requires no sign-up, and there is no server that stores accounts or reading records. The developer's server (Cloudflare) is used only to receive "Letter to Siori" messages and search-API error reports. The data involved is as follows.

앱은 이용자의 이름·전화번호·이메일 주소·정밀 위치·생체정보 등 민감정보를 별도로 수집하지 않습니다(편지에 이용자가 직접 적은 서명 닉네임은 예외). 회원가입과 로그인이 없어 이용자를 식별하는 계정 자체를 만들지 않습니다.
We do not collect your name, phone number, email, precise location history, or biometric data (apart from the nickname you sign a letter with). There is no sign-up and no login, so we never create an account that identifies you.
독서 기록·노트·사진·단어장은 기기 내부에 저장됩니다. 이용자가 iCloud에 로그인해 있고 iCloud 동기화가 가능한 경우, 이 데이터는 Apple의 CloudKit을 통해 이용자 본인의 iCloud 계정(비공개 데이터베이스)에 자동으로 동기화되어 같은 계정의 다른 기기에서도 이어볼 수 있습니다.
이 동기화는 이용자와 Apple 사이에서만 이루어지며, 개발자는 이 데이터에 접근할 수 없습니다. iCloud에 저장된 데이터의 처리는 Apple 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다.
Your records sync only between you and Apple through CloudKit into your own private iCloud database. The developer cannot access this data. iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The camera is used only to capture text from books. Text recognition runs entirely on-device via Apple's Vision framework; images and recognized text are never uploaded. The Contacts permission that iOS may request for Live Text is not used to read or store any contacts.
독립서점 지도에서 이용자의 현재 위치를 지도 위에 표시하기 위해서만 위치 권한(앱 사용 중에만 허용)을 사용합니다. 위치 정보는 지도 표시 용도로만 사용되며, 앱에 저장하거나 외부로 전송하지 않습니다. 위치 권한은 선택 사항이며, 허용하지 않아도 지도와 서점 목록은 그대로 이용할 수 있습니다.
Location (while-in-use) is used only to show your position on the bookshop map. It is never stored or transmitted, and is optional.
책·단어 검색 시, 검색 결과를 받아오기 위해 이용자가 입력한 검색어 또는 책의 ISBN이 아래 외부 서비스로 전송됩니다. 독서 기록·노트·사진 등 다른 개인 데이터는 전송되지 않습니다. 각 서비스는 자체 개인정보 처리방침을 따릅니다.
When you search, only your query term or a book's ISBN is sent to the services below to fetch results. No other personal data (records, notes, photos) is sent. Each service has its own privacy policy.

또한 앱의 안정성 확인과 개선을 위해 Google Firebase Analytics·Crashlytics를 사용합니다. 이를 통해 전송되는 정보는 익명 식별자, 기기 모델·OS 버전, 화면 이동·기능 사용 이벤트(예: "책을 완독함"), 오류(크래시) 진단 기록입니다. 기능 사용 이벤트에는 읽기 시작·위시·완독한 책의 제목, 완독 별점, 책 검색어, 시오리 플러스 구매 결과(요금제 종류)가 함께 담길 수 있습니다. 이용자가 작성한 노트·인용·소감 등 기록 내용과 이름·이메일 주소는 절대 전송되지 않으며, 광고 식별자(IDFA)를 사용하지 않고 광고·마케팅 목적의 추적이나 프로파일링을 하지 않습니다. Firebase의 데이터 처리는 Firebase 개인정보 문서를 따릅니다.
The app also uses Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics for stability and improvement. This sends an anonymous identifier, device model/OS version, screen and feature-usage events, and crash diagnostics. Feature-usage events may carry the titles of books you start, wish-list, or finish, your finishing rating, your book search terms, and the result of a Siori Plus purchase (plan type). Nothing you write (notes, quotes, reviews) and no name or email is ever sent; no advertising identifier (IDFA) is used, and there is no ad tracking or profiling. Firebase's data handling is governed by its privacy documentation.
위 도서·사전 API가 오류를 돌려준 경우(예: 일일 조회 한도 초과, 인증키 만료) 개발자가 이를 알고 고칠 수 있도록 어느 API가 어떤 오류 코드로 실패했는지와 익명 식별자·앱 버전·기기 모델·OS 버전을 시오리 서버(Cloudflare)로 보냅니다. 검색어와 이용자가 작성한 기록은 포함되지 않습니다.
When one of the book or dictionary APIs above returns an error (for example a daily quota limit or an expired key), the app sends which API failed with which error code, along with an anonymous identifier, app version, device model and OS version, to the Siori server (Cloudflare) so the developer can fix it. Search terms and anything you write are never included.
시오리에게 편지. 이용자가 설정의 '시오리에게 편지'로 직접 편지를 보낼 때만, 편지 본문과 편지지 이미지, 서명(닉네임), 익명 설치 식별자, 앱 버전·기기 모델·OS 버전이 시오리 서버(Cloudflare Workers)를 거쳐 개발자의 메일함으로 전달됩니다. 설치 식별자는 기기당 하루 발송 한도를 세는 데만 쓰입니다. 서버에 남는 사본(본문·서명·식별자·기기 정보)은 90일 뒤 자동으로 삭제되며, 메일로 받은 편지의 삭제를 원하시면 아래 연락처로 요청해 주세요. 편지를 보내지 않으면 아무것도 전송되지 않습니다.
Letter to Siori — only when you send a letter from Settings, its text and letter image, your signature (nickname), an anonymous install identifier, and the app version, device model and OS version are relayed through the Siori server (Cloudflare Workers) to the developer's mailbox. The install identifier is used only to count the per-device daily limit. The server copy (text, signature, identifier, device info) is deleted automatically after 90 days; to have an emailed letter deleted, contact us below. Nothing is sent unless you send a letter.
이 밖에 알림 전송을 위해 Apple의 푸시 서비스(APNs)와 iCloud 동기화(CloudKit)를 사용합니다. 앱은 광고 네트워크를 일절 사용하지 않습니다.
The app also uses Apple's push service (APNs) and iCloud sync (CloudKit). It uses no advertising networks.
독서 리마인더 등 알림은 이용자가 허용한 경우에만 발송되며, 알림 내용과 발송 시점 계산은 기기 안에서 이루어집니다. 뽀모도로 집중 기능의 앱 차단은 Apple의 스크린타임(Family Controls) 기술을 사용하며, 관련 정보는 기기를 벗어나지 않습니다. 알림 권한은 선택 사항입니다.
Reminders are scheduled on-device and sent only with your permission. The Pomodoro app-blocking uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls); related data never leaves your device. Notifications are optional.
Data is kept until you delete it. Deleting items in-app removes them (and syncs the deletion). Removing the app deletes local data; iCloud-synced data can be managed in iOS Settings → your Apple Account → iCloud.
앱은 아동을 주 대상으로 하지 않으며, 만 14세 미만 아동으로부터 고의로 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 개발자에게 전달되는 것은 이용자가 직접 보낸 편지뿐이며, 아동이 보낸 편지임을 알게 되면 지체 없이 삭제합니다. 보호자께서 자녀의 앱 이용에 관해 문의가 있으시면 아래 연락처로 연락해 주세요.
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. The only data that reaches the developer is a letter you choose to send; if we learn a letter came from a child, we delete it promptly.
이용자는 언제든지 앱 안에서 자신의 데이터를 열람·수정·삭제할 수 있습니다. 독서 기록은 개발자가 따로 보관하지 않으므로, 삭제·정정은 앱 내 삭제 기능 또는 iCloud(안드로이드는 구글 드라이브) 관리로 이용자가 직접 수행할 수 있습니다. 개발자가 보관하는 것은 이용자가 보낸 편지뿐이며, 편지의 열람·삭제를 포함한 그 밖의 요청은 아래 연락처로 하실 수 있습니다.
You can view, edit, and delete your data at any time within the app. The developer keeps no copy of your reading records, so access and erasure are carried out by you directly, in-app or via iCloud (Google Drive on Android). The only thing the developer holds is any letter you sent; requests about letters or anything else can be made via the contact below.
안드로이드판 시오리도 회원가입과 로그인이 없고, 개발자가 운영하는 서버는 iOS판과 같이 편지와 검색 API 오류 보고를 받는 용도로만 쓰입니다(1·5항). 아래는 위 항목과 다른 부분만 적습니다. 나머지는 위 내용과 같습니다.
The Android edition also has no sign-up and no login; as on iOS, the developer's server only receives letters and search-API error reports (§1, §5). Only the differences from the sections above are listed here.
On Android: records sync only into your own Google Drive app-data folder, and only if you turn it on; the app can see nothing else in your Drive. Your Google account email is stored on the device only, to show which account is connected. Text recognition runs entirely on-device with a bundled Google ML Kit model. Purchases are handled by Google Play — the app never sees payment details. Like the iOS edition, the Android edition uses Google Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics (anonymous identifier, device model/OS version, screen and feature-usage events including book titles, ratings, search terms and purchase results, crash diagnostics; nothing you write is ever sent — see section 5). Book search uses YES24, Kakao, Open Library and Urimalsaem. It requests no advertising ID and has no bookshop map, so no location permission is requested.
